 I've worn a few hats over the years from working in the woods in fisheries and wildlife, to fighting fire, ranching and construction. Just in the last few years the Lord has laid it on my heart to share some of these experiences with you. Most of these short stories involve hunting, fishing, and living in the back country of Idaho, Montana and Wyoming. Using the universal language of humor and a good dose of hard knocks, these stories will bless you with a good laugh and have you sitting on the edge of your seat or tearing up the next. There's also a learning lesson after each story you might be able to relate to. 

You'll notice the pen and ink drawings also on this website. During the long north Idaho winters, I sit around the wood stove and do some sketching and watercolors. 

Prints are available to purchase, but I haven't put prices up on the website yet. I usually sell these at Christmas shows. Being somewhat of a homebody I might venture to the big city to do a show in Couer D'Alene, but generally I sell these locally in Sandpoint or Bonners Ferry, Idaho. If there is one in particular you are interested in, please drop me a line and we can see about getting you a print. 

During the summer I've been working on building a self-sustainable cabin, which is another passion.
